KCA University acknowledges that research and innovation drive knowledge and change. The university has an established Research, Innovation, and Outreach (RIO) Division with robust research and Innovation plans to support the core mandate of a university of teaching, research, and outreach. This is achieved through the directorate of research support and dissemination and the directorate of innovation, incubation and linkages.

KCA Foundation is committed to supporting the research and innovation activities of the RIO Division through resource mobilization activities to finance the division’s research and innovation advances in the areas of:

1. Entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer
2. Research in Green Economy
3. Developing an Incubation Centre for students and lecturers to advance innovation activities
4. Development of technology park

Sustainability of financing is achieved through the endowment fund created by the KCA University Foundation that ensures the proceeds of the money endowed are utilized to finance research and innovation activities based on donors’ thrust.

KCA University, therefore, seeks partnerships with potential donors/partners to consider endowment as a long-term engagement option with the benefits of setting specific terms and profound joint marketing.
