Message from The VC & CEO

It is my pleasure and honour to present the KCA University Foundation (The Foundation) Strategic Plan 2022-2026, laying down the organization’s five-year plan. This Strategic Plan is critical for the Foundation, it will offer a reference point, based upon which activities can be undertaken systematically and proactively monitored and evaluated. The KCA University Foundation recognizes contributions made by different stakeholders in the development of the 2022 – 2026 foundation’s Strategic Plan. The foundation would wish to single out the central role by the Board of trustees whose vision we have been entrusted to carry through the establishment of KCA University Foundation with the sole mandate of mobilizing resources for the advancement and sustainability of KCA University. The foundation acknowledges the support and counsel received from the University Chancellor Prof. Olive Mugenda, Board of Trustees through their Chairman FCPA Michael Waweru, University Council members through their Chairman Sitoyo Lopokoiyit, Finally, I would like to recognize the dedication and commitment of the Board of Directors, The University Management Team, the entire Staff, SAKU Council and Alumni Board throughout the planning process, and for tirelessly working on, and delivering this document. I make a special mention to the Foundation Strategic Plan Drafting Committee members; Roggers Abong’o (Chairman), Lucy Chelimo (Committee Secretary), Dr. Lucy Wamalwa, Mercy Epiche ,CS Judy Warui , CPA Erick Oduol and Elizabeth Wangari who coordinated the entire process and delivered this Strategic Plan. I am persuaded that with the same commitment and dedication, we shall successfully implement this Plan as we work towards our vision and fulfil our mission.
