Infrastructure Development
KCA University Foundation has a core mandate to mobilize resources for the establishment and improvement of University infrastructure for teaching and research. The change in Kenya’s education policy in 2016 to adopt a 100% transition of students from secondary education to tertiary colleges and universities has resulted into increase enrolment rates, hence putting a lot of pressure on the available university infrastructure.
KCA University has developed an infrastructure development master plan that is tied to the university’s strategic plan for 2019 – 2023. The key infrastructures planned for development include the following facilities;
- Construction of school of business with offices and lecture halls
- Construction of the college of social sciences with offices and lecture halls
- Ultra-modern University Library
- Ultramodern administration block
- KCA Technical College with offices, lecture halls, and practical wings
- A 5000-capacity student hostels
- Storied Parking bar and offices
- Student Centre, fitness Centre, and student welfare building
- Health Centre for both students and staff
- Ultra-modern sports facility for students
- Construction of ultra-modern gate and perimeter wall
KCA University foundation, therefore, courts potential donors/partners and investors to consider partnering with KCA University in achieving the ambitious infrastructural development plan with mutual benefit. We welcome a full or partial donation in any of the areas of interest, and we are open to any form of mutual partnership arrangement including but not limited to PPP.
